Our mission

There’s more to quant
than the names
you already know.

Finding your way into quantitative finance often starts with a handful of familiar firms. Beyond them is a much wider world of specialist teams, smaller companies and opportunities you might never think to search for.

QuantList exists to help you discover that world.

Built from a student’s perspective.

I started QuantList while exploring quantitative finance myself. I wanted to understand which companies were out there, what they worked on and where I could see myself working.

That meant moving between search results, scattered lists and company websites, often revisiting the same names while missing others entirely.

I built the directory I wished I had: one place to explore companies, narrow the field around your interests and keep track of your research.

A clearer starting point.

Whether you’re looking for your first internship, exploring a different area of finance or simply curious about the industry, QuantList helps you build your own picture.

Browse by location and specialisation. Discover a company you haven’t heard of. Visit its website. Save the ones you want to revisit.

You decide what’s worth exploring.

Free to explore.

Discovering companies should be accessible, wherever you study and whatever your starting network looks like.

QuantList is an independent, student-built project. The goal is to keep the directory free and useful as it grows.

A little support goes a long way

Help keep
QuantList free.

If QuantList made your search a little easier, you can make a student’s budget a little less quantitative. Every coffee helps keep the directory free.

Buy me a coffee Entirely optional. Always appreciated.

QuantList is a starting point for your own research. Company information can change, and a listed office does not necessarily indicate a local quant team. Found something inaccurate? Let us know.
